That sucks. I wonder if you can put in the option to correct the autocorrect.

Nope. I tried that too. It wouldn’t let me do it, which sucks even worse. Literally, after an hour and a half the only thing that worked was to shut autocorrect as you type off entirely. Which is flatly ridiculous and making me think about sending Microsoft some harshly worded concrit on their programming. >:(

Nope. I tried both of the answers there. It’s Word 2010 and apparently they coded it in or something because the combo is not on the autocorrect list at all but it still autocorrects it. Very, very frustrating. *grumbles*

XD I like the curls now, but hated them when I was younger.  My hair isn’t straight even if I brush it out or when it’s sopping wet. *wry smile* I always wanted smooth, sleek straight hair. *sighs* I guess we all want what we don’t have. :)

I don’t even know how bad the storm was. I was too wrapped up in watching Brave. But it looks like a complete doozy to me.  And yes, there will be a lot of cleanup to do… once the rain stops. I’m not going out there and getting soaked. ;)

So incredibly good! I was so glad that there wasn’t a romantic plot for Merida. It’s such a nice change. And the way that she and her mother interacted with each other! *flails and squees* I think it’s right up there with Lilo and Stitch as my favorite Disney movies to focus on the families. :D (*laughs* I didn’t even know there was a storm until I drove home. Didn’t hear a thing inside the movie theatre.)

I do use firefox but the old computer’s hard drive fried. Completely. It was a true crash, bad enough that the computer guys at work couldn’t get anything at all off it. :| Fortunately pretty much everything (other than bookmarks) was backed up already so it’s not a big deal. Thanks anyway!

I do back-ups of the whole content every two months or so, and back-ups of important files every week. My last hard-drive got roasted too and I’ve been trying to be careful ever since. 

I’m not that concientious about it but I think I’ll be even more careful now. Its the first time my hard drive has completely crashed and it came out of nowhere. :|

Something you might want to consider for the future is to sign up with an online cloud storage service. I use one called “OpenDrive”. I believe they offer a basic 5 GB of storage for free, but then only charge $5/month for 100GB of space. 

I’ll definitely think about it. I actually haven’t lost very much. I think there’s only a handful of pictures that were lost between my zip drive and my hubby’s computer. But another route of backing up is a good idea.

Oh boo! I’m sorry my dear. :( But yes, good reminder. I’ll just go do that now… ;)

He really does have a sweet face (despite my terrible faceup skills). The green will be even shinier once I seal him with a gloss coat. He lost about 3/4 of his shine when I used MSC matte to seal this coat. *sighs* Oh well, just means more work on him. XD

So true. I love autumn, and I always hated having to go to school. I’ve always hated school. Anyone who looks back fondly on school, I do not understand at all; that was not ‘the best years of my life’ — that would be tragic!

*nods* Autumn is lovely other than that horrible school thing that always started up. I don’t understand anyone looking back at childhood and remembering it fondly. I really, truly don’t. Intellectually I can understand that some people really enjoyed that they weren’t responsible for everything but I was so unhappy that I wouldn’t trade adulthood for anything.

And school itself was always torture. I just don’t learn things in that format so it was torture on top of bullies. :|

Thank you! I’ll probably go with a neutral tone. Having reread the piece I plan to read out loud there’s only a couple of spots where it would be skipped anyway.

When I’ve done podfic in the past, I’ve always done the said’s out loud. I’d say the speech part in the character’s tone (angry, sad, etc) and then the narration part in a neutral tone. Hope that makes sense :)
